Zarkava is a doubt for this afternoon's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp.

Alain de Royer-Dupre's unbeaten three-year-old has been the long-time favourite for the race, but heavy overnight rain could have scuppered her chances.

De Royer-Dupre will assess the situation during the Arc undercard before making a decision on her participation.

The French handler told BBC Radio Five Live: "It's terrible weather and they've had rain overnight.

"It's going to be very, very soft.
