World Wrestling Entertainment's WrestleMania 24 pay-per-view takes place this Sunday night, and all week long we're providing readers with a number of 'Roundtable' pieces building up to Sunday's show.

Don't forget that OddsPreview.com will have live match-by-match coverage of WrestleMania 24 this Sunday night from 11pm GMT.

You can bet on WrestleMania 24 with OddsMaker.com and upon signing up if you enter the promo code AFF20PWM24, you'll get a free 20% deposit bonus.

To try and help you decide on where to place your money, Phil Lowe has the inside track on Sunday's show:

World Heavyweight Championship
Edge vs. The Undertaker

OddsMaker have Undertaker priced at -220 here, and that comes as no surprise. As wrestling fans will already know, his WrestleMania record is 15-0, and given that there have been plans for him to have a run on top as World Heavyweight Champion, it's hard to see past him winning here.

Edge (+180) makes for a great champion, and could end Undertaker's winning streak at this event, but while it's a possibility, the smart money here is on Undertaker. Bet: $50 on The Undertaker to return $72.73. Click here to bet

Floyd 'Money' Mayweather vs. The Big Show

People will make an argument that Mayweather will take a huge payday in return for a loss on Sunday night. I don't buy that argument at all.

Forget the talk of Mayweather pocketing $20 million for the show, as the real figure is much more likely to be around the $5m mark, with possibly a cut of the pay-per-view revenue on top of that. In total, he won't be taking home more than $10m though, in my opinion.

Still, it's not a bad amount.

WWE WrestleMania 24 - Live coverage at OddsPreview.com, Sunday, March 30

The money aside, I don't see Mayweather putting his well-earned boxing reputation at any unneccessary risk by losing in a staged professional wrestling match. Mayweather is -145 in the betting against Big Show's +115. My money is on Floyd here, with my only doubt being that the betting rules state that the "Announced winner is final." There's always a doubt they'll have some kind of unclean ending to the match that sees outside involvement which could hamper the bet, but I'll take the risk. Bet: $50 on Mayweather to return $84.48. WWE Championship Match
Randy Orton vs. Triple H vs. John Cena

The outcome here I'm still not decided on other than saying Randy Orton won't retain the title, and priced at +200 it appears OddsMaker feel the same way. You can make a case for both Triple H (+100) and for John Cena (+150) to win the title in Sunday night's main event. The market is priced about right here in this one, and I'll go with the boss' son-in-law, Triple H, to walk out of WrestleMania 24 as the new WWE Champion. Bet: $50 on Triple H to return $100. If Ric Flair loses, he retires
Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels

We talked about this earlier in the week, and if you read what I had to say, you'll already be aware that I put up an argument for Flair not losing at WrestleMania, and instead saying goodbye to an amazing career the next night on WWE's Monday Night RAW show in front of a much larger television audience. In reality, Flair loses here, but for the sake of betting, I'm going to stick by what I said earlier in the week and back Flair (+160) ahead of the odds on favourite, Shawn Michaels (-200). Bet: $50 on Ric Flair to return $130. Click here to bet

Batista vs. Umaga

Batista is the clear favourite with OddsMaker at -200 against Umaga who is currently priced at +160 for a match that should go the way of Smackdown's Batista. With a max bet of $50 available here, backing Batista will only return $75, and with speculation that Raw's Umaga could be in line for a move over to Smackdown in the Spring, it's a tricky one to predict. History, logic, and positioning tells me that Batista gets the win here, and although an Umaga win wouldn't shock me, my money is on the favourite. Bet: $50 on Batista to return $75. Belfast Brawl
Finlay vs. JBL

The betting here shocks me. Finlay is the clear favourite at -180 against JBL's +140. Again the "Announced winner is final" rule could spoil things here, but I don't see the result being anything other than a JBL win. The stipulation here is that the match is a 'Belfast Brawl' which I expect the conclusion to see JBL winning the match before Finlay gets his revenge after the bell. Bet: $50 on JBL to return $120. Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk vs. MVP vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Mr. Kennedy vs. John Morrison vs. Carlito

A few weeks ago, Jeff Hardy was pretty much guaranteed to win this match until he failed a company drug test and as a result was ordered to sit on the sidelines for two months.

Now, with the original eight-man match down to seven (unless WWE add a last-minute, it's wide-open, and the betting reflects that.

Chris Jericho is favourite priced +100, but at those odds I don't think he's worth backing. Traditionally, the winner of this match is somebody who WWE are keen to push to the next level in the months after WrestleMania. And as somebody who has already been at the top - and in all honesty has been a disappointment since making his return to the WWE several months ago - Chris Jericho is not going to be seen as a true main event guy for some time, if at all.

There's definitely a case for Mr. Kennedy (+150) to win this. The winner of last year's match, his push towards the dizzy heights of the main event was hampered by injury, and if WWE management are planning to push him again in the upcoming months, Sunday night is the time to start that push.

Elsewhere, MVP, whose matches and promos have made for great viewing on Smackdown over the past year or so, is somebody who could definitely be involved with the main event guys down the line. And at +250 looks great value for Sunday night.

OddsMaker offer +500 on ECW's Shelton Benjamin to win, but if you're thinking about making some money there, chances are you'll be disappointed. While a solid wrestler, Benjamin's involvement here will likely to create a 'WrestleMania moment' with a couple of high-risk moves involving ladders, and nothing much more.

CM Punk, Carlito and John Morrison are all priced +400, and that's probably about the right pricing. Of the three, Punk is most likely to win, but chances are that this match is a year too soon for him to be considered as somebody to push towards the main event.

So who to back? Well at +250, MVP appears to be good value. Bet: $50 on MVP to return $175. Click here to bet

24-man Battle Royal

The Great Khali is the favourite to take the pre-PPV 'dark match' and is priced -200 at time of writing. For me, that's one to avoid, unless there's some masterplan WWE have in store to make people actually care about the big talentless goof.

Mark Henry is priced up at +200 and seems a much better bet based on the way he's been pushed on WWE programming recently. But my hesitation about backing him is that the winner of this match faces current ECW champion Chavo Guerrero, and to do a heel vs. heel (bad guy vs. bad guy for the non-wrestling fans reading this) match at WrestleMania in a match that very few would care about makes no sense to me - even for WWE.

My money is going on Kane, who is the second favourite at time of writing at +100. It makes sense for him to win to set up a face (good guy) vs. heel match with Guerrero, and despite not being pushed as a main event star over the past few years can still hold the crowd's interest. At +100, your returns won't be so great, but a small profit is better than zero profit. Bet: $50 on Kane to return $100. Click here to bet

Total WrestleMania 24 stake: $400
Potential returns: $857.21
