Ahead of tonight's show, Phil Lowe and Mark Bright are counting down to the WWE's biggest pay-per-view of the year and tonight bring you the second of a three-part WrestleMania 24 preview!

Floyd Mayweather vs. The Big Show

Mark Bright:
This is the match that most of the WWE's promotional efforts have gone into.

You only need to look at the official posters for the event, its Big Show and Floyd Mayweather front and centre, towering over the five guys contesting the World Title and WWE Title matches. I would be stunned if this closed the show, but it's certainly the match that will be getting the most credit/blame once the buyrate comes in.

It was only a couple of days ago that the rules for this match were announced, those being "anything goes" and you can win via pinfall, submission or knockout. So basically Mayweather will be running from Big Show, there will be a bunch of run-ins from both Mayweather's posse and various lower-card wrestlers, and then whatever they go with for a finish.

In media interviews this week, various people in Mayweather's management have stated that there will be a major shocking swerve at the end of this match. If they're actually teasing something major rather than just talking the match up, then whatever it is will leave people talking about it on Monday. Oscar De La Hoya showing up is the biggest possibility as far as a boxing tie-in goes. If that happens, the media attention will be manna from heaven for the WWE.

But I'm going with a conservative and somewhat predictable outcome to this match. Eventually it breaks down into a major brawl between the Mayweather posse and the wrestlers, and one of the wrestlers turns on Big Show (I don't know who - it could be anyone although MVP is probably the best person for it should they go this way) in exchange for "a chunk of the $20million" that Floyd is - in storyline - being paid for this match. It'll be a major spectacle whatever the result, and something I'm really looking forward to.

Phil Lowe: While in the eyes of wrestling fans, this certainly isn't the main event of the night. But in terms of promotion - and in the eyes of WWE management (and Floyd Mayweather) - it certainly is.

As Mark mentioned, Mayweather's management are hyping a major swerve that has thus far been kept quiet. Assuming that is true, you have to think it's something massive to be considered anything other than a letdown.

De La Hoya, perhaps? Ricky Hatton? Mike Tyson? The Rock? Any of those names, and WWE (and Mayweather) has themselves some extra publicity. Anybody else - and immediately Steve Austin and Rey Mysterio spring to mind - and it'll be a letdown, with no external publicity coming as a result.

Mayweather has been preparing for the contest with WWE developmental wrestler Matt Sydal, who has been helping to teach him a few moves so he doesn't look like a fish out of water tonight. Mayweather certainly seems like the type of guy who doesn't want to go out there and stink the joint up, so I'm expecting this to be better than it reads on paper.

To hide Mayweather's inexperience as a wrestler, I'm expecting a lot of outside interference - both from Mayweather's people and WWE wrestlers.

But I don't think the outcome here is in question. Anything other than a Mayweather win and I'll be extremely shocked.

World Heavyweight Title
Edge vs. The Undertaker

Mark Bright: I fully expect Edge and The Undertaker to have the best match on the show.

We have a one-on-one match with a clearly defined heel and babyface, with Edge not being the kind of heel that will garner the mixed response that a lot of heels tend to want these days, for reasons that still make no sense to me.Edge takes on The Undertaker tonight at WrestleMania 24

These two both bring their best for the biggest shows, and will probably feel slighted at not closing the show.

As long as nothing else on the show runs over time, they should deliver the goods in a long back and forth match, with interference from The Edgeheads and Vickie Guerrero to further build tension, and eventually Undertaker to get the win and continue on with the long World Title run he was scheduled for last year before injuries brought an end to that idea.

Phil Lowe: People are questioning whether The Undertaker's undefeated streak will come to an end, and Edge deserves a ton of credit for making people believe that he could win tonight.

But while I do see 'Taker losing at some point at WrestleMania to put over a younger guy, I don't think Edge needs the win, and I think 'Taker has one more good, long title run in him, which was the plan a year or so ago before he got injured.

This should be a good match, partially because both guys will be miffed that they're not closing the show. It's not the first time Undertaker has been in that situation, and if history repeats itself (which I expect it will), he'll be out to steal the show. While I'm not sure this will be the best match of the night, it'll be very good if not great.

WWE Championship Match
Randy Orton vs. Triple H vs. John Cena

Mark Bright:
As much as I believe it's the right thing for Randy Orton to win this match, I don't think that will be happening. I see Triple H winning the match and adding one more to his endless number of World Titles as he chases down Ric Flair's record.

The match itself will probably have the most fun crowd reaction, with duelling chants aplenty and the customary split reaction for John Cena where the teenage and adult males boo him unmercifully, women and children cheer him just as loudly and passionately, while Orton will be mostly boos with some cheers, and HHH will be mostly cheers with some boos.John Cena

In some respects the interplay between the crowd will be more interesting than the match itself - and hopefully the guys will feed off that crowd energy to make the match better.

Here's the inherent problem with one-fall Triple Threat matches: they are all the same.

You have various points in the match where everybody teams up together to double team the other guy; you have points in the match where one guy is outside selling an injury only to heroically appear from nowhere to make a save at some point.

They will all hit their finishers on each other, and the third guy in the match will make the save, then at the finish, one guy will be thrown over the top rope, take a bump on the floor, and instantly one of the two guys left in the ring will hit his finisher to win.

Phil Lowe: I'm certain that there's a title change to close the show here. The only way Orton retains is if this match doesn't close the show, as WWE will want to go out on a happy note to send the fans home happy.

In the betting preview I wrote earlier this weekend I wrote about how there was a case for both Triple H and John Cena winning the title, but that Triple H was the favourite. I stand by that.

John Cena has a movie to shoot shortly, and while it's possible he could clock up some extra air miles and jump between the movie set and WWE shows, I don't see it happening. For me, Triple H wins here.

We'll have the third and final part of our WrestleMania preview, looking at tonight's Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels match, available from around 9pm GMT ahead of our live WrestleMania 24 coverage which gets underway at around 11pm GMT.
