Woods paired with Mickelson and Scott for US Open @ Thursday June 5

Tiger Woods has been paired with world numbers two and three Phil Mickelson and
Adam Scott for next week's US Open.

Having undergone knee surgery two days after finishing second at The Masters,
Woods had not played since Augusta but managed a practice round at Torrey Pines
on Wednesday.

Officials have announced four groups consisting of the world's top 12 players and will later reveal the rest of the groupings for the tournament.

Ernie Els, Justin Rose and Geoff Ogilvy make up another trio. Stewart Cink, Sergio Garcia and Vijay Singh have been paired together and KJ Choi, Jim Furyk and Steve Stricker make up the other big-name grouping.
