Oliver Wilson will be the only player having not hit a ball going into day two of the Ryder Cup after Friday afternoon's fourball pairings were announced.

Phil Mickelson and Anthony Kim, who battled back to halve with Padraig Harrington and Robert Karlsson in the morning, will again lead the Americans out - this time against Harrington and rookie Graeme McDowell.

Nick Faldo has stuck with the pairing of Justin Rose and Ian Poulter in the second match. They will take on the rookie duo of Ben Curtis and Steve Stricker, who have their first taste of the Ryder Cup.

Paul Azinger keeps faith with Justin Leonard and Hunter Mahan for the United States in game three.

They will take on the Spanish pairing of Sergio Garcia and Miguel Angel Jimenez with Faldo splitting up Lee Westwood and Garcia - Westwood spearheading the final partnership with Soren Hansen, who is introduced by captain Faldo for the first time.

The final match is completed by the United States duo of Boo Weekley and JB Holmes as Azinger manages to get all his players out on the first day of competition.
