David Trezeguet says he has come to terms with the fact he is not part of France's Euro 2008 plans.
France coach Raymond Domenech has left the Juventus striker out of his 39-man squad for the senior friendly against England on Wednesday and a B team fixture with Mali on Tuesday. "I have won everything there is to win with the national team so I'm relaxed." Trezeguet, who has scored 34 goals in 70 appearances for France, has not featured since the 1-0 defeat by Scotland in a Euro 2008 qualifier in September. "I respect his (Domenech's) decisions," the 30-year-old said. "I think about my team and I hope to continue doing well with Juventus. "A young group has been created in the national team with a few experienced players and I think that is fine. My personal revenge will be to do well with Juventus." But Domenech suggested on Thursday there was still a chance Trezeguet could make his Euro 2008 squad.
"If we need him it is possible he might be called back," Domenech told a news conference. "The door is not closed."
