Ronaldo claims he would be happy at either United or Madrid @ Sunday July 20

Cristiano Ronaldo has again stated that he does not know whether he will play for Real Madrid or Manchester United next season, but claims he would be happy at either club.

The Portuguese international, currently on holiday in the United States, told La Sexta: "Great players are always wanted by great clubs. I’m not the only one.

"It’s something normal. I’ve already been wanted in the past years, and I live it like a normal situation.

"Good players who are on the market are always wanted by clubs. To me it’s not strange.

"I want to be happy wherever I play. If I’m happy, confident, motivated, every place is good for me."

When asked if he is anxious regarding his future, the forward quickly answered: "No. Not at all (laughs).

"You can ask me 40 questions about Manchester United and Real Madrid, want do you want me to tell you? That I’m leaving?"

Sir Alex Ferguson met with Ronaldo last week and insisted afterwards that the winger will not be sold to Real Madrid.

But Ronaldo added: "I don’t know anything about my future. Only God knows."
