Jermaine Pennant believes a partnership of Robbie Keane and Fernando Torres could be the best in the Premier League.

Liverpool have confirmed an interest in signing the Tottenham striker, although Rafa Benitez's comments about the Irishman have prompted a complaint from Tottenham.

Keane has told Spurs that he wants to join Liverpool and Pennant would welcome the gifted forward at Anfield.

"Robbie is a great player," Pennant told the Daily Star. "He's sharp around the box and is a great finisher.
