Ireland's Ryder Cup stalwart Paul McGinley has dismissed suggestions that he might still get a call from captain Nick Faldo to resume the vice-captaincy he resigned to try to play his way into the European team.

On Wednesday, ex-Ryder Cup captain Bernhard Langer had urged Faldo to think again about going in with just one vice-captain, Jose Maria Olazabal, and recommended he re-hire McGinley.

"It's all done and dusted, I'm not going and it's not even a question," McGinley told reporters.
