The Oakland Raiders have finally sealed a deal with the Atlanta Falcons for DeAngelo Hall.

The Falcons will receive a second round pick in this year's draft and a fifth-round selection in 2009 in exchange for the services of the two-time Pro Bowl cornerback.

Hall has signed a seven-year contract with the Raiders that is worth between $67-70m, with The San Francisco Chronicle reporting that $24.5m of that figure is guaranteed.

The deal makes Hall the highest paid cornerback in NFL history.

He had made it clear he wanted to leave Atlanta after clashing with former coach Bobby Petrino and drawing criticism for being an outspoken supporter of imprisoned quarterback Michael Vick.
