NFL - Jones signs new deal with Jacksonville Jaguars @ Saturday February 16

Full back Greg Jones has signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars for next season.

The 6ft 1in, 254-pound, 26-year-old missed all of 2006 with a knee injury, but returned to the NFL with the Jaguars last season.

He played in all 16 games for Jacksonville in 2007 and helped the Jaguars' running game as they made it through to the divisional round of the play-offs.

They were knocked out by the New England Patriots, who went on to Super Bowl XLII, but the Jaguars were still ranked second in the NFL for rushing with an average of 149.4 yards per game.

Jones rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns on 42 carries and caught 11 passes for 99 yards and two scores.
