Jewell vows to dump his Derby flops @ Monday 12 May 2008, 12:10 PM

Following their 4-0 defeat at home to Reading on Sunday, Derby boss Paul Jewell said he was disgusted by his side's display.

Jewell is yet to win a game in charge at Pride Park after six months in the job.

"I'm glad to see the back of this season, I'm so disappointed the way it's finished," he said.

"The majority of the players involved for us this season will never play for Derby again.

"We tried everything to get this group to perform but we've not been good enough and I include myself in that.

"We make basic errors and we are certainly nowhere near good enough for this league, what is worrying is that we aren't good enough for the level below either.

"The fans turned on the team today, they are angry and rightly so. I hope we can put this embarrassing season to bed."
