Ricky Hatton says his fight with Juan Lazcano in Manchester later this month could be his last on home soil. Victory over the Mexican at Manchester City's Eastlands stadium on May 24 would ensure Hatton next meets IBF champion Paulie Malignaggi in America. And down the line, the 29-year-old has also targeted a rematch with Floyd Mayweather. A rematch with Mayweather could still happen at Wembley Stadium, but as things stand, Las Vegas is a more likely option. "It could be my last fight in England, yes," said Hatton ahead of his IBO light-welterweight clash with Lazcano. |

"I think HBO and Golden Boy would like me to fight in the States to be honest, though there's nothing set in stone that says I have to."
Hatton, who has overcome a sickness bug this week ahead of his meeting with Lazcano next week, has always maintained he will not fight well into his thirties and believes he has few goals left to achieve in the sport.
"Malignaggi at Madison Square Garden would be ideal should I beat Lazcano," he told BBC Sport. "Then I'd like another crack at Floyd.
"I'm not going to put a time limit on it, but then I've got to start to look for any more goals and ask 'are there any more goals that I want to achieve?'
"I will have topped the bill at City, at Madison Square Garden, won five world titles at two weight divisions, had the chance to put the record straight hopefully (against Mayweather) and then, well what more do you want, Ricky? What more is there to prove?"
