Yorkshire captain Darren Gough has confirmed that he will retire at the end of the season.

"I think I've had a good innings," said the former England paceman. "It's time to call it a day.

"I'm 37," he told Sky Sports News. "We've got some good youngsters coming through and I'll be 38 when I've retired."

Gough, who made his first-class debut in 1989, played 58 Tests and 159 one-day internationals for England.
