Hibernian striker Steven Fletcher has been added to the Scotland squad for Wednesday's trip to Iceland. Fletcher, who has been capped once before, scored twice as the Under 21s beat Slovenia 3-1 on Thursday evening. West Brom midfielder James Morrison missed out in Skopje but may be fit while striker Kenny Miller and full-back Graham Alexander are both doubts. Captain Stephen McManus picked up a knock in Saturday's match against Macedonia, but should still feature. |
English-born Fletcher started Scotland's friendly against Croatia in March and set up Kenny Miller's equaliser in the 1-1 draw, but was substituted at half-time through injury.
He was was Scotland's top scorer in the 2006 European Under 19 Championships, but was suspended for the final against Spain which Scotland lost 2-1.
