Roger Federer opened his bid for a sixth consecutive Wimbledon title with a 6-3, 6-2, 6-2 win over Slovakia’s Dominik Hrbaty on Monday.

Federer conceded just one point in the opening three games to set the tone in the opening match on Centre Court against his former doubles partner.

The win, which came after less than 80 minutes, means Federer has extended his winning streak on grass to 60 matches. He has not dropped a service game on grass this season, including his title run at Halle, Germany.
