Austria v Germany - A Tall Order

Austrian coach Josef Hickersberger may be about to make a host of changes for their make or break game with neighbours Germany.

Ivanschitz and Linz could be dropped because of their poor performances, whilst Korkmaz is struggling with injury but he is lamenting the loss of the suspended Sebastien Proedl.

"We will miss his tallness in defence as well as up front. It's also sad for Sebastian — he will miss a great highlight in his young career," said Hickersberger displaying a distinct lack of confidence in his side's chances of making it through to quarter-final.

The lack of Proedl's tallness coupled with a general all round rubbishness could see the hosts fall short.
