England look set to remain unchanged for the decisive the third Test in Napier despite injury scares for Paul Collingwood and James Anderson. Both players required fitness checks on Saturday but captain Michael Vaughan said it was "just a precuation". New Zealand's hopes suffered a major blow earlier this week when Jacob Oram joined Kyle Mills on the injury list and was ruled out. Oram has been one of the Kiwis' main bowlers in the first two Tests but is out with a hip problem. With paceman Mills already out due to a knee injury, 19-year-old Tim Southee will be handed his debut in the decider. Meanwhile, off-spinner Jeetan Patel has been preferred to Mark Gillespie. Gillespie took Patel's place in the seam-friendly conditions in Wellington for the second Test, returning 6-142, but the spinner's selection suggests the Napier pitch will be less friendly for the quicks.Skybet - Grand Slam Sunday Man Utd v Liverpool and Chelsea v Arsenal Place your first bet and we'll match it up to £20 Kiwi captain Daniel Vettori is desperate for his side to wrap up the series win, to follow their victory in the one-dayers. "We feel we've had that advantage throughout the series and we'd love to finish it off with a result here," he said. "People weren't expecting it from us but we've managed to put something together. We've lost a lot of players, but there is still a lot of talent here and I think we can go forward." Vaughan is optimistic that he will be able to field the same side that levelled the series in Wellington last week, despite late worries for Collingwood and Anderson. "It's just a precaution that we've given those two players an extra afternoon of treatment and night in bed just to make sure they wake up fully fit," he said. "They seem fine - Colly's had a little scan today and it shows nothing so I'm sure he'll be fine. Jimmy's had a good bowl today and he's bowling a good pace." And Vaughan has called on his young side to seize the chance to complete a Test series win against New Zealand. An embarrassing first-Test defeat in Hamilton preceded a comprehensive win in the second Test in Wellington. But with it all to play for in Napier from Friday, Vaughan said: "We've won one game of cricket - it's only 1-1 and we really want to win this series. "We are improving, but it's the early stages. This is a big chance for us." He added: "We want to win a series because we haven't won our last two and it would be great if we could do that here certainly after where we were after Hamilton." England's hopes could rest on a young seam attack that performed so well in Wellington, with the same XI expected to play in the final Test. Anderson and Stuart Broad took 10 wickets between them in that victory having replaced veteran pair Matthew Hoggard and Steve Harmison. But Vaughan has warned Anderson and Broad they must keep performing if they are to retain their places in the side. "I've been really happy with the way the two senior guys in Hoggy and Harmy have knuckled down and given me a big indication that they are desperate to get their places back," said Vaughan. "That's exactly what you want as a captain. It's now up to the young players to take their opportunity and try to keep those senior players out of the side. "It was refreshing that we had two young guys who did well, but it's just one game and they know they have to do it again this week." Vaughan also expects Kevin Pietersen to come good after a stuttering series for him with the bat so far, "Kevin's an unbelievable talent who could quite easily go out there and smash a double hundred and I certainly hope that's what he does," said England's captain.
"I feel he's got that little bit of confidence back this week and I'm sure he's on the verge of a big score."
