There has been speculation players could refuse to sign new contracts in September, but IS Bindra has called for the organisations to work together to solve the problem.

"That solution is not acceptable to us," he told BBC Sport. "We will not have any player revolting against their establishment and becoming part of the IPL."

Bindra is planning to meet ECB chief Giles Clarke when he travels to India this week for the IPL's inauguration ceremony on Thursday.

"We don't want to be a rebel league, we want to be part of the system with the support of the ECB," Bindra continued.

"We are looking forward to meeting Giles Clarke and other members of the ECB. We can make adjustments, we can postpone our league by a couple of weeks.

"If we can find a solution, it will be in the interests of everyone involved, including the players."
