Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari hopes Didier Drogba can play 45 minutes against Manchester City on Saturday. Drogba has yet to make an appearance for Chelsea this season due to a knee injury, but returned for the reserves last week. He is determined not to rush his comeback from the injury, but has been pleasing Scolari with his progress. Scolari is now hoping that the striker, along with John Obi Mikel, could be involved in this weekend's game. |

"Mikel is in very good condition and Didier grows up every day and grows up every week," Scolari told Chelsea TV.
"He [Drogba] is not completely ready for the game against Manchester City, but in my idea he may be possible to play 45 minutes.
"He is starting, step-by-step, to arrive in the same situation [in fitness terms] as last season."
