Dar Re Mi, the current favourite for the Vodafone Oaks, will put her credentials on the line in the Tattersalls Musidora Stakes at York next week. The John Gosden-trained filly made an impressive reappearance at Sandown last month, defeating some useful rivals by seven lengths in the process. But while connections are looking forward to York, they are keeping their feet on the ground regarding the possibility of Classic success at Epsom in June. "Touch wood, that is where she will run next, all things being equal," said Simon Marsh, racing manager for Lord and Lady Lloyd-Webber. "She did it very well at Sandown, but there is a long way to go yet. "She was bred at Watership Down Stud, which is owned by Lord and Lady Lloyd-Webber, so it would obviously be nice to dream about things like Classics. "But that is a long way away yet." |
