Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed striker Emmanuel Adebayor will be sidelined for the next three weeks. The Togo international sustained an ankle injury in last Saturday's 2-1 loss at Stoke City following a challenge from Ryan Shawcross. Adebayor, who has nine goals to his name this season, is now set to miss a number of key clashes in November, including the weekend fixture versus Manchester United. Wenger told the club's official website: "Adebayor will be three weeks. "(Theo) Walcott could be days or weeks. It is the shoulder he had the surgery on. We don't know about (William) Gallas yet but (Bacary) Sagna will be back in the squad." |
