A number of America's leading trainers are looking to work with Bolton boxer Amir Khan after the Commonwealth lightweight champion split with Oliver Harrison. Khan has been working with the Salford-based Harrison since his final days as an amateur - with the 21-year-old winning all 17 of his fights as a professional. However, their three-year association was brought to an end on Monday, with Khan deciding now was the time to make the break - although an official announcement is due later in the week. A spokesman told The Bolton News: "It is nothing personal with Oliver and we hope to stay friends but Amir needs to go up to the next level." |

Roger Mayweather, Buddy McGirt and Freddie Roach are believed to be in the frame to take over in Khan's corner, with the highly-talented Olympian desperate to win a world title.
