Following recent speculation that WWE want former wrestler and now UFC heavyweight star Brock Lesnar to return to the company, betting is underway on a potential Lesnar v The Undertaker match - either in the WWE or the UFC!
Lesnar, who was stunned by Cain Velasquez in the main event at UFC 121 last month in their UFC Heavyweight championship clash, has reportedly been contacted by former employers WWE, who want him to return to return to pro wrestling for their WrestleMania pay-per-view event next Spring.
The Undertaker, who was at UFC 121, had words with Lesnar following his fight in a brief exchange which was designed to get people talking in case a potential WWE match took place.
Undertaker is a keen UFC fan who has admitted he would have moved into MMA if he was younger, and punters can now bet on the outcome of a potential match between the two, either in the WWE or in the Octagon.
British bookmaker Ladbrokes make Undertaker the 1/2 favourite to win should they meet in a pro wrestling match with the WWE in 2011, with Lesnar the 7/5 outsider.
Lesnar is the 1/16 favourite to win should they two meet in 2011 in a MMA match, with Undertaker 6/1.
It's 6/4 that a fight takes place in the WWE and 6/1 that the two meet in the UFC in 2011.
Lesnar's future is uncertain and his next opponent in the UFC is more than likely to be Frank Mir, but the former champion has shown in the past to be unpredictable and the lure of a WrestleMania payday could be too much to turn down.
If you're getting involved in this market, all bets will be voided and returned if a match has not taken by the end of 2011, so taking the 7/5 available on a Lesnar win and also the 6/4 on any match taking place in the WWE looks well worth taking to us.
