November 4th, 2010: Arsenal are out to a best price 12/1 (Ladbrokes) to win the Champions League after they were beaten 2-1 away to Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday night.

The win saw Shakhtar cut to as short as 66/1 to go all the way following their win over the Gunners, although Stan James at time of writing are still willing to offer 125/1.

Chelsea remain a general 9/2 after their 4-1 win over Spartak Moscow, while Real Madrid are a best price 9/2 (Sky Bet) after they drew a Pedro Leon goal in the 94th minute gave them a 2-2 draw away to AC Milan (33/1 Victor Chandler).

November 3rd, 2010: Barcelona remain favourites to win the Champions League despite being held to a 1-1 draw by Danish champions FC Copenhagen on Tuesday and are now a best price 7/2 (Unibet) to win this season's competition.

Tottenham's 3-1 win at home to Inter Milan saw the Italian side drift out to 16/1 (Coral) while Spurs are no better than 28/1 (Paddy Power) to win the competition following their impressive win at White Hart Lane, which saw Rafael Van der Vaart, Peter Crouch and Roman Pavlyuchenko get on the scoresheet as Gareth Bale impresed yet again.

Manchester United's 3-0 win over Bursaspor sees them no better than 9/1 (888sport) to win the Champions League, while Valencia are a general 50/1 after their 3-0 win over Rangers on Tuesday.

September 30th, 2010: After all five British clubs won their second Champions League group games, bet365 offer 40/1 on the same happening again on Matchday 3.

bet365 spokesman Steve Freeth said: "It’s been an expensive Champions League midweek thanks to the nap hand of wins by the British boys – we’re just relieved that Barcelona came unstuck in Russia."

September 30th, 2010: William Hill have cut their odds on an all-British Champions League Final to 13/2 (from 7/1) following Manchester United and Tottenham's wins on Wednesday night.

Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe said: "Everything seems to be proceeding very nicely for the Brits thus far with Rangers also unbeaten so far."

September 30th: Tottenham's 4-1 win over FC Twente on Wednesday night saw them shortened with bookmakers, with Harry Redknapp's side as short as 25/1 to win the Champions League. 888sport at time of writing were still willing to offer 40/1 on Spurs going all the way in the competition this season.

Manchester United beat Valencia 1-0 in Spain thanks to a late Javier Hernandez goal and that has seen them trimmed in places and now a best price 11/2 with Victor Chandler.

September 29th, 2010: The drift reported earlier in the day was justified as Barcelona drifted out to a best price 3/1 with EurosportBet to win the Champions League on Wednesday evening after they were held 1-1 away to Rubin Kazan.

The Spaniards had to come from a goal down in Russia to rescue a point.

September 28th, 2010: Chelsea have been trimmed to win the Champions League following a comfortable 2-0 win over Marseille on Tuesday night. At the final whistle, the Blues were 9/2 with bet365 to go all the way in the competition this season.

Arsenal's 3-1 win at Partizan Belgrade actually saw them drift out to 14/1 with Sportingbet, while Real Madrid, who beat Auxerre 1-0 in France, were also trimmed with several bookmakers and at the full-time whistle a best price 11/2 with Victor Chandler.

AC Milan, who were held 1-1 away to Ajax, are out to 25/1, also with Sportingbet.
