2009 Grand National Odds

Odds have been moving this morning in the 2009 Grand National betting markets. Butler's Cabin, Rambling Minister and My Will are all moving into favouritism at Victor Chandler.

Online bookmakers this morning are seeing enormous flows of cash on the Grand National favourites.

Neal Wilkins from Victor Vhandler commented

“The public have really got behind Tony McCoy in his attempt to win the National for the first time at the fourteenth attempt and having laid his mount Butler’s Cabin to lose over £200,000 at 9/1 he is currently our market leader at 8/1 usurping Ruby Walsh’s mount My Will who we have pushed out from 8/1 to 9/1.”

“ We top offered Rambling Minster at 12/1 this morning and he has attracted a flood of money and is now trading at 9/1 while lively outsiders include Battlecry, 50/1 into 40/1 including a bet of £100,000 to £2,000 each way and Offshore Account, 33/1 into 22/1.  If we are in a credit crunch it is not being reflected by the betting patterns this morning!”
