Gunners odds-on to return from the Stadium of Light with all three points

Arsenal travel to Wearside this afternoon missing a number of players, with Robin van Perside (ankle), Theo Walcott (knee), Nicklas Bendtner (groin), Jack Wilshere (ankle) just some of the names ruled out.

But Denilson (back) is back in contention for Arsene Wenger's side and could start.

Sunderland will be without Kenwyne Jones and Michael Turner (both suspended), but Lorik Cana returns from his ban.

Goalkeeper Craig Gordon (arm) is ruled out for the Black Cats, but boss Steve Bruce has Bolo Zenden (hip) and John Mensah (calf) back in contention.
