Rangers missing a number of players ahead of tonight's must-win Champions League game

Rangers go into tonight's Champions League game at home to Stuttgart in need of all three points if they are to keep their slim hopes of progressing to the last 16 alive.

The SPL side are without winger Jerome Rothen (sinus), while Steven Naismith (calf and hamstring) is doubtful.

Striker Kris Boyd (calf) could be passed fit to play, while Gers boss Walter Smith will decide whether Madjid Bougherra will feature following the defender's late return from international duty with Algeria.

DaMarcus Beasley (hamstring) is back in contention and could feature, but Pedro Mendes, Maurice Edu and Kirk Broadfoot all miss out.
