Villa favourites to win tonight's quarter-final tie at Fratton Park

Portsmouth host Aston Villa tonight in the Carling Cup looking to reach the semi-finals for the first time.

But Avram Grant has a number of players missing, with Jamie O'Hara, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Mike Williamson and Tommy Smith all cup-tied.

Steve Finnan (groin) and David James (calf) are also likely to miss out.

Villa have serious doubts over Nigel Reo-Coker (ankle), while full-back Stephen Warnock (illness) is also a doubt.
