Newcastle United 2/5 for Premier League relegation

Newcastle United are now as short as 2/5 to be relegated after their goalless draw with Portsmouth in the Premier League on Monday night.

Stan James offer a best priced 8/11 on the Magpies playing Championship football next season after a starting line-up that included Michael Owen, Obafemi Martins and Mark Viduka failed to find the net at St James' Park.

The point saw them move above local rivals Middlesbrough into 18th place but with three points seperating them from 17th placed Hull City and just four matches to play, time is running out for Alan Shearer's side.

Premier League relegation - best prices as of Tuesday, April 28:
West Brom - 1/33 (Coral)
Middlesbrough - 3/10 (Expekt)
Newcastle - 8/11 (Stan James)
Hull City - 13/8 (Skybet)
Sunderland - 5/1 (Skybet, Coral)
Blackburn - 20/1 (Skybet, Coral)
Portsmouth - 40/1 (bet365)
