Nemanja Vidic to leave Manchester United this summer?

Manchester United FC defender Nemanja Vidic could be on his way out of Old Trafford this summer, despite Sir Alex Ferguson’s desire to keep the Serbian.

A number of clubs have shown an interest in the defender, including United’s opponents in the Champions League tonight AC Milan, although Vidic will not feature because of injury.

Skybet currently have Vidic down as evens to join his former United team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid, while Barcelona are 8/1 to snare the defender with Jose Mourinho’s Inter Milan priced at 20/1.

Vidic has yet to feature for Manchester United in 2010 which has led to speculation that Ferguson is unhappy with the Serbian’s commitment to the club.

But Ferguson said: “Of course we want him to stay. He is a great player. He is one of the best centre-backs in the world."

Any loan deals involving Vidic will not count with the bets placed with Skybet.
