Manchester City v Fulham betting preview

Mark Hughes’ team look nailed-on to win Sunday’s match at Eastlands

If I was putting my house on a team to win in the Premier League this weekend, it would be Manchester City.

While Emmanuel Adebayor (7/2 Blue Square) may be struggling to be fit for the game, Mark Hughes’ team have more than enough quality to return to winning ways. Odds of around 1/2 are available on betfair, with Canbet (9/20) going best price among the fixed-odds bookmakers.

The Citizens have won all three of their league matches at Eastlands this season and should take advantage of a Fulham team that are bound to be tired after playing two matches in the space of four days.

The Cottagers may have won at Eastlands last season and the one before, although matches against Roma and Hull will have surely taken its toll, especially after conceding late against the Italians on Thursday night.

Sky Bet go 15/2 that they take the three points, although I think that their opponents are crying out to be backed on the Asian Handicap. City -1 are 19/20 (bet365), although with Craig Bellamy (5/1 Paddy Power) returning to the team, they should have plenty of joy.

Andy Johnson is missing for the visitors and City winning to nil can be backed with confidence at 13/10 (Paddy Power).
