William Hill offer 10/1 that Cheryl Cole's next husband will be a Premiership footballer following Tuesday's news that she was separating from Chelsea defender Ashley.

But the Geordie is 3/1 to get back together with Ashley before Christmas 2010 and in from 4/1 to even money to be a judge on the American X Factor.

"The odds suggest that there is a great chance that Cheryl will go stateside to the US X Factor!" said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams on Tuesday evening.
