Labour Party betting - David Miliband to reject a Shadow Cabinet role?

- 27 Sep 2010
After missing out to younger brother Ed in the Labour Leader contest, betting is underway on whether David Miliband will be part of the Shadow Cabinet

William Hill, who are offering a £25 free bet to new customers, make David Miliband 1/2 to be named as the new Shadow Chancellor.

But it's just 5/1 that David decides not to accept any position in the Shadow Cabinet.

Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams said: "The odds suggest that David is a shoo-in for the Shadow Chancellor job but there is a real chance that he will not put himself forward for any of the shadow cabinet roles."

David is 4/1 to become the Shadow Foreign Secretary and 8/1 to be named Shadow Home Secretary.
