Steve Harmison 11/10 to start first Ashes Test

Harmison impresses ahead of first Test of the Ashes series

Steve Harmison is 11/10 favourite with Blue Square to be given the final bowling spot for England's first Test against Australia.

The Ashes get underway in Cardiff on Wednesday, with Harmison impressing again on Friday.

He followed up his four first-innings wickets for England Lions by dismissing Australian opener Philip Hughes and skipper Ricky Ponting in their second innings at Worcester.

That led to William Hill cutting Harmison from 11/10 to 8/11 to be called into the England XI for the opening Test of the summer series.
