Punters steering clear of England ahead of Twenty20 International

England are friendless in the betting ahead of Friday's first Twenty20 International with South Africa.

As of 1pm on Wednesday, William Hill had taken just £6 on England beating the hosts.

England are 13/8 to win Friday's first of two Twenty20 games, with South Africa 1/2.

Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams said: "England were pathetic earlier in the week and despite easing the price to 13/8 we have been unable to attract any money."
