Spain are favourites to advance to the semi-finals this afternoon in what could be a close game.

However Serbia should not be ruled out following their performances in the group stages, despite only narrowly managing to overcome Croatia in the last 16.

Spain can be backed at 2/5 with William Hill (£25 free bet), which given the nature of their win over a good Greece side in the last round will be appealing to many.

But the 12/5 available on a Serbia win at Blue Square (£10 free bet) also looks appealing.

To us, this really could go either way, so we're looking away from the above two options and looking at the following:

First up is backing Spain to win with a points handicap of -6 at 9/10 with Sportingbet (use bonus code MAXIMUMBONUS to claim a £25 free bet). Spain were solid against Greece while Serbia did not impress against the Croatians in the last 16.

Secondly, you can also claim a £20 risk free bet on Serbia v Spain at 888sport. If your first bet does not win, 888sport will refund your stake in full, so if you're looking to back Croatia for the upset win, that looks to us like the best place to back that option.
