Odds and Markets
Sportingbet’s prices should be applauded, you’ll regularly find that they provide the best price about a number of football teams, horses or players. What’s refreshing is that they seemingly offer competitive prices on virtually every sport, not just the North American sports or the UK-focused markets.
As you’d expect from a global bookmaker offering their website in nineteen different languages, they have excellent coverage when it comes to sports and markets offered. As well as the likes of soccer, racing and NFL, you’ll also get a specialised service for the likes of volleyball, handball and all the European ice hockey leagues. Their In-Play service is also very impressive.
Website
Unfortunately, the website is unreliable on many counts. It is often slow to load pages, depending on what browser you are using. Aside from the slowness, navigation is a problem – it can be pot luck whether your market is available on the homepage or whether it takes several clicks to find it. The presentation of markets and odds are fine although the process of actually placing a bet is not one of the best.
Customer Service
Despite the apparent ‘live chat’ facility, this nearly always seems to be offline. In addition, the response time after emailing customer services can be anything up to 2 days. Therefore, it’s best to call with any queries where the 24/7 staff are generally helpful.
